Isaac Plains Coal Management Pty Ltd (at the time a 50/50 joint venture between Aquila Resources and Vale) appointed Larpro as the Project Manager for the Integrated Isaac Plains Project in Queensland, Australia.
The project consisted of development of the Isaac Plains South mine, and the acquisition of a Bucyrus-Erie 1370W dragline from New Mexico, USA to the Isaac Plains site, where it was rebuilt and deployed
Development of the Isaac Plains South resource involves the construction of a 14km haul road, underpass of the Peak Downs Highway, various dams and watercourse diversions and development of the associated mine infrastructure required for the project.
