Carborough Downs Coal Management Pty Ltd (80% owned by Vale) engaged Larpro to provide planning assistance to the owners team for a major expansion of the underground mine and associated surface works for the Carborough Downs Expansion Project in Queensland Australia.
The project consists of the duplication of the existing coal preparation plant, installation of long wall mining machinery, and an overland conveyor. The project was completed in early 2010.
